Full Job Description

Due to further development, we are looking for some additional enthusiastic, experienced & resilient TAs to join our new dedicated Ofsted rated Good SEN School in Gunnislake.

We are particularly looking for experienced role models for pupils that enjoys the company of others and that have a sense of humour. The best person to support our pupils would have had experience supporting pupils who experience can anxiety or sensory processing challenges. We would like the successful candidate to help develop our pupil's identity and self-worth.

You should also have experience in working with children who have learning disabilities and complex needs, who may need support with safety.

All our TA posts provide the opportunity to develop into other roles.

As a TA some of your day-to-day activities will include:

  • assisting and encouraging the children with their learning

  • supporting the children with any barriers to learning which may include their anxiety or sensory processing challenges

  • Supporting the assessment and evidencing of pupil's attainment on their learning journey



  • Salary £23,920 pro rata. Term time only contract, 36.25 hours per week. Which gives a yearly take-home of £18,592.63
