Full Job Description

Are you passionate about creating memorable, educational, and active experiences for children? Are you ready to make a lasting impact in the life of a young learner with SEN and SEMH needs? This is your chance to join a dynamic and supportive team, working with a wonderful family who are deeply committed to their son's well-being, development, and happiness.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and adventurous individual to support a 10-year-old male learner on his daily outings, sports, and interest-led projects. This is a unique role for someone who truly values the importance of an active, healthy lifestyle and thrives on engaging with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges.

About the Role:

- Collaborate with a team of professionals to provide holistic support to a bright and curious young man.

- Inspire the learner through creative and engaging trips, sports, and activities, making each day an exciting opportunity to explore the world.

- Support subjects like Literacy, Numeracy, PSHE, and Physical Education through active, hands-on experiences.

- Plan and lead a diverse range of outings-from educational day trips to museums and outdoor adventures, to cultural experiences that promote inclusivity and diversity.

- Work two full days (Tuesday & Thursday, 8 AM to 4 PM), with extra opportunities during school holidays.

You'll have access to a family-provided vehicle and insurance for travel, or public transport costs will be covered., This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work closely with a delightful family who value creativity, adventure, and a student-centred approach. You'll be part of a dedicated Home Education team that has already been supporting this incredible family for over a year. The role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility and rewards of two full days per week, with the option for extra holiday work if desired.

A creative, spontaneous, and fun-loving individual with a good sense of humour.

- A team player who is organised, proactive, and loves working with children.

- Someone with a valid UK driving license, and a passion for introducing new, active lifestyle experiences.

£40,000 pro rata (0.4 contract), actual salary of £16,000 (term time only). Additional holiday work to be compensated accordingly.

If you're ready for an exclusive role where your passion for education and adventure can shine, we'd love to hear from you! This is more than just a job-it's an opportunity to inspire and support a young person's journey in the most fulfilling way.
