    About the SEND Department

We are a team that has an in-depth knowledge of each student with complex needs at Trinity and processing their Data. These are students who are vulnerable, we are their voice and support to really make a difference in each of their lives and help each and everyone reach their God given potential. Being a part of this team allows you to leave an everlasting impression on these young people in need.

The Trinity SEND team is made up of a SENDCo, 2 Assistant SENDCos, two part time administrative staff and a team of LSAs (currently at 9 LSA), 5 of whom are our lead LSAs who line manage the other LSAs. A SEND Administrator is responsible for supporting the SEND team to grow and improve and implement systems to ensure we are supporting the wider work of the school. The SENDCo will distribute specific responsibilities based on your strengths to ensure that you fit into our amazing team comfortably.

SEND at Trinity is very much a whole school approach and the work we do on the day to day helps further heighten our SEND support at our school and further supports all staff to create an ever growing inclusive environment for all students regardless of need.

    About You

You will be working in conjunction with another part-time SEND Administrator and between you, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate organisation of all aspects of the school's SEND administration arrangements and processes. You will contribute to the creation, development, implementation and operation of procedures and processes. You will be first point of contact for the SEND team, draft letters and manage the SEND email Inbox.

You will also liaise with staff to support requests for access arrangements, statutory assessments and be responsible for timetabling the LSA support.

Previous office or administrative experience in a school environment is essential. Knowledge of school systems is desirable as training will be provided. A positive attitude and calm manner with the ability to communicate well with others and demonstrate good organisational skills is essential.

Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children, the needs of children and child development and the ways in which children learn is essential.

    How to apply

We are a Christian school through and through and are very keen to uphold this important and foundational element at Trinity. You do not have to be a Christian to join us but be sympathetic to our Christian values.

We are recruiting as applicants apply therefore an appointment may be made before the close date.

Our school and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students. The successful applicant will be subject to a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure and checks regarding proof of ID, medical clearance, satisfactory references, social media checks and the right to work in the UK.
