Full Job Description
Working alongside the school's SENDCo and EYFS lead, the SEND HLTA will be a lead practitioner in a specially resourced room for 8 pupils with SEND. The children all range from reception to Year 1. The team consists of 4 staff members and there will be supervisory duties as part of the role.
Has a developed knowledge of pupils with SEND (ASD, communication and language, physical)
- Is a qualified HLTA looking for an opportunity to expand their knowledge and lead a specially designed room
- Is able to plan an engaging, personalised and bespoke curriculum
- Is creative, positive and passionate
- Has strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
