Full Job Description

We are working with a fantastic SEN college that are seeking a dedicated SEND Lecturer to deliver high-quality education and support to their students. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
This college support young adults 19 to 25 years old that have PMLD., + Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
+ Assess and report on student progress, ensuring alignment with personal learning goals and EHCP outcomes.
+ Manage a team of support assistants, working closely with therapists and other professionals.
+ Contribute to the development and delivery of the curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
+ Actively participate in performance management, staff meetings, and professional development.
+ Ensure a commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of students.
Key Expectations:
+ Promote inclusion, equality, and diversity within the College.
+ Lead by example and serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.
+ Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various disciplines.

+ Qualified teacher with relevant experience.
+ Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and assessment.
+ Experience working with students with additional learning needs (desirable).
+ Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
+ Commitment to safeguarding young people.
