Cromer Academy is a community school in its truest sense: it is at the heart of the area it serves and is ambitious and determined for its young people. The academy is within easy reach of some of the most spectacular beaches and countryside in the UK, but this is no sleepy rural school. The school is rated Good by Ofsted with Outstanding ratings for leadership and management, and for personal development, behaviour, and welfare.

The school has a myriad of opportunities for its children and the wider community to access study support and extracurricular programmes. Pupils are expected to work hard and be committed to learning and the school demands high standards of behaviour that allow effective learning and teaching to take place.

What is it like to attend this school? The culture of Cromer Academy is rooted in the heritage of the town it serves. It is a focal point where the achievements of the community converge and are celebrated. This culture means that pupils who attend the school understand and take great pride in their community. Pupils want to make a positive contribution to their school and wider society. To achieve this, they know that they must meet the high aspirations teachers set for them, and many do so.
