Full Job Description
- Keeping SEND records accurate and up-to-date.
- Maintaining an organised filing system.
- Managing referrals and external agency visits.
- Using the Edukey Provision Mapping Tool.
- Supporting the SLT/SENDCo with admin tasks.
- Managing meetings and associated paperwork.
- Supporting the financial processes of the department.
- Contributing to the development of SEND support.
- Analysing data to inform SEND approach.
- Liaising with parents, carers and other agencies.
Excellent administrative and communication skills. - Experience in an educational setting working with SEND.
- A good understanding of the SEND landscape and any relevant legislation
- Experience of working with Management Information Systems.
- A passion for supporting children with SEND.
- A real commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Maltings is an 11-16 academy based in Witham, Essex. Situated between the cities of Chelmsford and Colchester, the academy has 900 students on roll and benefits from a purpose-built building that was constructed in 2011.
