Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to come work within the Special Educational Needs team at Tameside MBC.

Currently based at Tameside One with hybrid working, this newly created role will support in delivering a range of performance management projects.

In this role you will be providing data analysis and supporting the use of performance and intelligence data to support processes and service improvement activity across the SEND Service. You will work closely with the SEND Finance and Place Planning Manager and the Education Data Lead to ensure completion of statutory returns and all aspects of data within SEND. We are looking for someone with data analysis experience, who is self-motivated and committed to our improvement plan.

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Excellent IT Skills (Excel, Word)

  • Be self-motivated and work on own initiative.

  • Good judgement and problem-solving skills.

  • Be organised, flexible and enthusiastic.

  • Experience of Data Management.


  • You will need to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, the public, and outside agencies, and have good persuasive and interpersonal skills.
