Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Salary: £18,072 - £19,325 (actual salary) Start Date: TBC Contract Type: Pemanent Working Pattern: Monday - Friday About Our School: The Wrenn School is unique, we are lucky enough to be a split site school, enabling us to provide a lower and upper school site. The school has beautiful grounds, purpose-built Art, Music, Drama and Design Technology, Wrenn Astro, playing fields, hard play areas and Gyms provide excellent facilities for our pupils. About the SEND Department: At Wrenn, we are committed to supporting our SEND students and cater to a range of different support needs. We have highly skilled support staff to support with a wide variety of learning challenges. About You: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the SENDCO to support students with a range of different learning needs. Our ideal candidate would:

  • Have an aptitude for working with young people
  • Understand the characteristics of working with students with and without SEND needs
  • Relevant qualifications would be desirable
