Full Job Description
In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital role in our inclusive environment, working alongside passionate teachers to: Empower Students: Build rapport and trust with pupils, fostering a positive learning environment where all children feel valued and supported. Individualised Learning: Deliver focused support to SEND learners, assisting with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalized learning programs. Celebrating Success: Promote independence and self-esteem, celebrating each student's progress and achievements. Supportive Classroom: Work collaboratively with teachers to create a well-managed and stimulating classroom environment. Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Contribute to the overall success of the school by collaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
- possess a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or be actively working towards it)
- have a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
- be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- be able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- be a team player with a flexible and positive attitude This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
