Full Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated SENDCO to join our enthusiastic team. Are you an outstanding classroom teacher with a thorough understanding of special educational needs and disabilities? Then we'd love to hear from you. We are looking to appoint a passionate, hardworking and focused SENDCO who understands how to maintain a culture and ethos that promotes the support of students with diverse needs. In this role, you will:

  • Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils aged 3-19 and support a designated curriculum area as appropriate
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of pupils as a teacher/form tutor
  • Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve the highest of standards
  • Believe that you can secure outstanding support and the best outcomes for all students
  • Share and support the Academy's responsibility for providing and monitoring opportunities for pupils' personal and academic growth
  • To be successful, you will:
  • Be committed to raising the achievement of all learners by ensuring teaching across the curriculum is of the highest quality
  • Be able to make positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike
