Permanent role from January 2025, offered on Leadership scale point 1 to 4. Do you want to join a family team where your experience and expertise will be valued and developed? Do you want to work in an intentionally smaller school, where students are properly known, within a growing MAT? We are looking for an experienced and knowledgable SENDCo who will have high expectations of what all our children can achieve. They will believe that all children will thrive, regardless of barriers, if given appropriate support to access and succeed in the full curriculum. Our SENCO will be innovative and will coordinate the delivery of SEN provision across the whole school supporting all learners to achieve to the best of their abilities. They will lead from the front and will manage a dedicated SEND team. This is a permanent, full time role but we would consider 0.8FTE for the right candidate. The post offers ample opportunities for personal career development, in addition to:

  • A bespoke CPD programme including training and in department development time
  • Comprehensive staff well-being package
  • Access to on-site gym
  • School site in close proximity to the Lake District National Park
