can support SEND children and their families through identifying barriers to learning and adopting strategies that help overcome these
can demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education for all children through working with staff and families to formulate personal plans for improvement
has knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and understands the EHCP process and Early Help services to support pupils and families
can work alongside teachers to provide advice and develop impactful class strategies
can monitor and evaluate the quality and impact of SEND provision across the school
can form positive relationships; inspires and motivates all children to enable them to be the best that they can be
will attend meetings with parents, teachers and other providers to ensure all pupils' needs are met
will work with the wider team to close the gap for vulnerable and disadvantaged learners
holds or would be interested in working towards the National SENDCo Qualification (guidance and time would be given to support this)
