  • Working with your senior team to manage day-to-day client activity across both retained and project work for consumer brands
  • Supporting with the drafting of newsworthy press releases, survey questions and media pitches
  • Participating in media sell-ins, pitching stories and projects to journalists to deliver client coverage through press, online and social media channels
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key journalist contacts and making new ones to account for changing clients and journalist teams
  • Participating in all-agency brainstorms for new client briefs and contributing to new ideas and the writing of the pitch deck
  • Contributing to the implementation of campaigns, supporting in client meetings and assisting with the organisation and execution of client projects and retained press offices - including updating status timelines and weekly reports
  • A key day-to-day contact and support for junior clients, ensuring you gain a solid understanding of the client's business, their competitors and wider industry trends and news
  • Participating in daily newspaper reading to identify potential news hooks for reactive media sell ins, plus also keeping abreast of any coverage relevant to clients within the agency
  • Researching, outreaching, negotiating and managing influencers across your campaigns, both from a paid and organic point of view (such as securing influencers to attend events or to gift products to)
  • Supporting the team on video and photography shoots, including liaising with our production team, liaising with suppliers, organising props, managing call sheets & running orders, being a runner on set
  • You will be responsible for compiling detailed campaign reports, including coverage analysis - both weekly and at the end of campaigns (existing experience of media monitoring platforms such as Meltwater or Cision useful but not essential)
  • Ability to work as part of a cross-agency team for clients as required

  • This opening is on an experienced Senior Account Director's team who has been at Taylor Herring for 5+ years and works across many of the agency's key consumer clients
  • The team's portfolio consists of projects and retained accounts - giving a fair and nurturing opportunity for team members to experience a variety of client work. You'll be trained on account, client and creative management whilst also getting exposure to the amazing campaigns that come with working at Taylor Herring.

  • Demonstrable agency or in-house experience working within consumer PR and be client/stakeholder facing within their current role.
  • Writing: Strong writing skills are essential, to support with drafting newsworthy press releases, survey questions and media pitches.
  • Multi-Tasking: Executing responsibilities across 3-4 accounts at any one time
  • Proactive: Actively taking responsibility for day-to-day tasks and priorities and updating team on progress/requesting support where required
  • Problem Solving: Using creative insight and problem-solving daily
  • Media Knowledge: Must have fantastic selling in skills, with a strong news sense and a host of key media contacts demonstrated through secured coverage
