Full Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for International Fixed Asset accounting and analysis. This includes preparation of financial analyses and reporting, journal entries, workpaper reconciliations, effective internal controls, audit support, and related accounting matters. Effectuates process improvement and efficiency across relevant areas of the accounting department and ensures the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the company's financial records. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.,

  • Responsible for journal entries, roll forwards, and consolidated international fixed asset reporting in accordance with company policies, GAAP, and local accounting standards.
  • Maintain and track fixed asset records, including acquisition, depreciation, disposals, and transfers across multiple legal entities and business units.
  • Calculates and records monthly journal entries, often involving large data sets and prepares workpaper reconciliations. Makes recommendations and implements automation and process enhancements.
  • Researches and develops automated ERP routines such as mass retirements and reoccurring journal entries.
  • Perform in-depth analyses of fixed asset portfolios, capital expenditures, and depreciation schedules to identify trends and enhance decision making.
  • Support the establishment of consistent accounting processes and internal controls across the global enterprise.
  • Partners with HQ/Field/Territory business on Statutory Filings.
  • Utilizes data to prepare key reports and metrics to monitor ongoing adherence to processes and controls.
  • Research ways of streamlining and standardizing processes to support the accountingfunction, propose process improvements, and implement.
  • Collaborate with IT and system administrators to troubleshoot and improve the fixed asset management functionality within the sub ledger and related systems.

    Five to seven years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Public accounting experience desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting. CPA preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Automation tools including Data360, Microsoft Power BI, or Alteryx a plus.
