Full Job Description

As Senior Administrator you will work closely with the clinicians and with the service manager to deliver a robust service 5 days per week, with the team covering 9.00 to 17.00. You will co-ordinate the staff, prioritise the workload and will deal with daily issues and concerns that arise. Working with the administrators across adult community services you will together manage referrals into the CCC and Lymphoedema and Tissue Viability Team and with clinical support as required, ensure onward referral to the appropriate clinical service, in a timely manner, You will ensure the daily operations within the service run smoothly and all incoming referrals are logged appropriately and referrals are moved across the system in a timely manner .You will have the responsibility of dealing with any upcoming issues that can be resolved on the day either independently or with the help of the service manager. You will keep a log of admin tasks so you can prioritise and allocate the work accordingly; ensuring all work is completed to both time and standard. You will be responsible for ensuring the office runs efficiently and to locally agreed processes, including ensuring all stock is ordered and maintained., An opportunity has arisen for a full time band 4 administrator in the community Lymphoedema and tissue viability team. This is a permanent position.
The lymphoedema team and tissue viability team is a small team of expert physiotherapists and nurses working closely oncology teams, community nurses, practice nurses, other specialist nurses and care homes across the RSFT. The team provides clinical advice on all wound care and lymphoedema and chronic oedema management in the community setting.

3. Role Responsibilities/ about the role - This post is permanent 37.5 hours per week, that can be worked 5 days per week.
4. The post holder will have experience in administration and meet person specification criteria. With a background in any of these areas and a passion to help people with chronic illness and enable their care to be seamless.

6. The core elements of the role include providing, managing clinic appointment booking, process in referrals, problem solving, taking team meeting minutes, booking meetings and supporting clinical staff.

Applicants will need to demonstrate ability to promote high standards of care with a desire to consistently improve patient outcomes and an ability to work independently.
The applicant needs to have evidence of recent related continuous professional development in relevant area.
