Full Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Administrator / Business Support to join our busy and friendly Connection and Retreat teams. Are you organised and adaptable, with a keen eye for detail? Do you thrive on working at pace and able to multitask? Have experience of providing business support, communicating with a range of people and services and reporting performance and service data? You will ensure the delivery of comprehensive administrative support and routinely provide business and performance reports using a number of data systems. This is a diverse role, with a range of responsibilities across administrative and business support, and flexibility of thought and approach, and ability to prioritise and communicate effectively is a must have.
This is a full-time permanent post, but we would consider part time applications with a minimum of 30 hours. Flexible working requests will always be considered. The main base is at St Ann's Hospital - complete with office with sea view.

To take overall responsibility for the provision of a professional, efficient and confidential administration service ensuring all correspondence is treated with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality at all times.
To liaise with other members of the Access Mental Health teams to organise and deliver a safe and efficient office system to support sound patient care, consistent with good clinical guidance, whilst helping the team to achieve targets and complete timely returns of information.
To support clinicians and service manager with their work, including typing clinical letters and organising appointments.
Be responsible for compiling agendas for the relevant business meetings and taking minutes for those meetings.
To produce reports around various aspects of service performance and delivery.
To maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure effective working relationships at all levels, internal and external to Dorset HealthCare NHS Foundation Trust, including NHS and non NHS organisations across the national health community.
There are some secretarial duties associated with this role but the main duties will be supporting the Service Manger and Team Leaders within the Open Access services to maintain standards of service delivery through the close monitoring of data. Data collection and and report writing is an essential skill and previous experience an advantage.
