Full Job Description

The postholder will provide excellent office management and administrative support to support delivery of collection move projects. Key areas of responsibility:

  • Manage and deliver administrative support for collection move projects.
  • Manage the collection move projects office, including health and fire safety compliance and undertaking fire warden duties as appropriate.
  • Manage and monitor collection project budgets, including raising POs and ordering materials and equipment across projects.
  • Schedule and minute programme and project meetings, manage internal communications and events, manage and schedule any travel arrangements, including travel insurance, risk assessments and visas.
  • Assist the Project Coordinator in acting as a liaison point for collection move projects.

  • Ability to draft documents and take minutes.
  • Ability to synthesise and report on information orally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain effective administrative procedures.
  • Experience of financial administration and budget monitoring.
  • IT literate. Proficiency in a range of Microsoft software packages including Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Excellent co-ordination and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing demands changing priorities and requirements.
