Full Job Description

The Faculty of Education seeks to appoint a Senior Administrator, as part of the Andrew and Virginia Rudd Research and Professional Practice Programme.

The core mission of the programme is to advance new knowledge and insights into the role of family, community, school and individual-based processes that underlie emotional, behavioral, social and education outcomes for children and young people, with a particular focus on developing evidence-based practice models of benefit to parents, carers, educators, community health and other professional practitioners, policy makers and young people themselves.

The postholder will act as senior administrator for the Rudd Programme, organising, managing and delivering the activities of the programme. The postholder will communicate with internal and external members of the programme, helping to increase interest and engagement with the Programme. They will build new relationships, create new opportunities for cross-cutting projects and opportunities for networking amongst members and coordinate activity across multiple schools and institutions.

Candidates will be educated to degree-level standard or have an equivalent level of professional experience.

The position is part-time at 0.6 FTE. Job sharing and flexible working arrangements will be considered.

Please see the further particulars for full details of the duties of the post, and the criteria for appointment.

We hope to hold interviews on week beginning 28th October 2024.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 30 September 2026 in the first instance.
