Full Job Description

The Senior Analyst/Advisor will report to the Managing Director, European Operations and Relationship Management whilst also providing support to the SMD, Global Head of Real Assets & Head of Europe. This role will operate as a key member of the "Office of the Head of Europe", providing support to both the Managing Director, European Operations and Relationship Management and the SMD, Global Head of Real Assets & Head of Europe, alongside the SMD's EA resource. The role is critical to enabling the connectivity and alignment necessary to achieve the Head of Europe's vision for optimized performance that both leverages and contributes to CPPIB's advantages. The role will provide operational support for all European Offices. Responsibilities

  • Provide the SMD, Global Head of Real Assets & Head of Europe and the Managing Director, European Operations and Relationship Management with support on regional operations & initiatives for Europe.
  • The role will be accountable for the coordination and preparation of materials, data analysis and slides to support activities and initiatives for the European office (e.g. European Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) meetings, regional GLT calls).
  • The role will be coordinating meetings, preparing, collating and sharing information to support the relevant stakeholders.
  • Role will work closely with the Finance team to help manage and track budget for the Office of the Head of Europe.
  • Provide event management support on activities such as the European Offsite, RA offsite, SMT & Board Meetings or regional visits, London office speakers/lunch & learns, Europe I&D Council and Employee Resource Groups initiatives.
  • Function will support the Office of the Head of Europe and the EMAC to ensure we have coordinated execution within the European region for all operational matters - to include maintaining a regional calendar of events.
  • Assist in the execution of a relationship management strategy to engage sovereign wealth funds, family offices, pension funds and other relevant corporate entities in Europe and the Middle East. This will include research to determine where strategies overlap with our and create potential opportunities for potential partnership or as competitive intelligence. Further, the role with assist with the execution and tracking of these engagement along with the preparation of materials for senior leader engagements.
  • Closely collaborate with Corporate Services to maximize the efficiency of currently available space, pilot new approaches consistent with the Workplace of the Future initiative. Analyze data to inform office redesign.

    Excellent MS Office capabilities - particularly across PPT and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization platforms - Tableau, PowerBI, etc
  • Fluency with AI Tools and Prompt Engineering
  • Solid research background and experience
  • Recognised ability to multi-task and prioritize, managing higher volume activity alongside longer-term project work
  • First class communication, organisation and collaboration skills
  • High EQ, with an ability to engage and influence across teams and departments
