This is an exciting opportunity for a senior analytical lead to work closely with senior leaders in NHS England, as part of the Top of the Office (TOTO) Analytical PooI.
The post holder will become the deputy to the Assistant Director of Analytics in the TOTO Analytical Pool. The TOTO Analytical Pool sits within Operational Insights, under Data and Analytics. The aim of the TOTO Analytical Pool is to ensure that the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) have access to the data, analysis and insights that they need to do their jobs effectively. The team is responsive, working across a wide range of programme areas and priorities to provide high-quality analytical support to TOTO. In this role you will be working at the centre of decision making., The role is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, skilled and capable analyst to have exposure to TOTO. It will be a stimulating, fast-paced environment in which to develop skills managing ad hoc requests whilst delivering medium term projects.
As an analyst within the TOTO Analytical Pool, you will be expected to:
Deliver analyses and insights that support TOTO to be able to do their jobs effectively.
Manage the development of analytical products, dashboards and other bespoke tools for TOTO.
Manage the TOTO Analytical Pool, supporting their learning and development.
Build and manage collaborative relationships across the health system, including internal and external policy and analytical teams.
Lead the example of best practice with respect to analytical use of the Federated Data Platform.
