Senior Analytics Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Analytics Engineer to join our team in London. We are creating a fundamentally new approach to digital marketing, combining big data with large-scale machine learning. Our data sets are on a truly massive scale - we collect data on over a billion page impressions per month and analyse the content of hundreds of millions of documents a day.

Your responsibilities leading internal analytics will include:

• Design, build, test and maintain high volume DBT data models.


• Analyse complex datasets in SQL.


• Develop and optimise Looker Models using LookML.


• Work closely with business stakeholders on defining, prioritising and delivering our roadmap.


• Build relationships with stakeholders to best support their needs, and ensure we deliver impactful work in a timely manner.


• Manage and organise large datasets to support business intelligence reporting and analysis.


• Ensure a comprehensive approach to data integrity and data governance.


• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.

• An advanced degree (Bachelor/Masters) in computer science or a related field.


• Solid programming skills in both SQL and Python.


• Proven work experience in DBT and LookML.


• Passion for processing large datasets at scale (BigQuery)


• Experience with Apache Airflow is a plus.


• Initiatives around performance optimisation and cost reduction.
