Full Job Description
- Interacts with the engineering teams at our Brecksville, Ohio & Edmonton Alberta locations, supporting our internal and external sales teams assess, troubleshoot and provide resolution issues.
- Interprets customer technical specifications and makes recommendations.
- Supports development of technical training and at times translating technical into non-technical for non-technical audiences.
- To provide applications engineering support across Curtiss-Wright business in particular (after training) spring design, bellows design, trim selection, valve configuration, sizing and selection.
- Responsibility for local Engineering Admin Support.
- May assist engineers and other technical staff in design and development of workshop fixtures and test equipment , systems, and processes, by analyzing technical problems and working closely with stakeholders.
- May travel to the customer's site to assist in control valve projects, may work with engineering design specifications, objectives and standards.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Previous experience in the oil & gas industry - control valves and / or safety valves engineering.
- Experienced in Sizing calcs, control valve trouble shooting etc
- Familiar with applicable ASME, API, PED & ISO standards.
- Good communication skills
