Full Job Description

A great team culture is at the heart of the Clinical Application Support team. Heavily relied upon to support the efficient operation of applications such as Carenotes, RiO, EMIS, IAPTUS, BetterMeds & MIYA to Trust staff., A typical day will see you managing team activities, liaising with clinical colleagues, running Clinical CAB & resolving complex faults. You will work with our solutions providers & Trust colleagues to get the best from our clinical applications, managing upgrades & configuration changes. Providing Trust assurance by ensuring all work undertaken is managed via Test/UAT environments, creating & utilising test plans, before transitioning via CAB agreed solutions to Live. Working & liaising with fellow application users to pro-actively manage applications & explore opportunities for improvement. The ability to pro-actively identify problem trends & known errors whilst working towards permanent solutions. The creation of quality documentation, performance reporting, project updates & training guidance is also vital to the role. You will be required to work from Kings Court 1, Worcester. The contracted hours are 37.5, working Mon to Fri, with on call duties once trained.

We are looking for a dynamic & enthusiastic senior to join the team that CARES, providing support, guidance & structure as well as problem-solving expertise to lead the team through day-to-day activity as well as planned large-scale system change. The role is crucial to the development of the Trust applications as we head through a period of change & growth. Ensuring all information, processes and procedures are effectively documented, kept up-to-date and used by the team is a vital part of the role. You will need to bring with you a positive attitude, willingness to learn, great communications skills, strong interpersonal & analytical skills & in return we will support you to be the best that you can be.
