Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic well motivated individual to work within the respiratory and sleep physiology team at North Manchester General Hospital and associate Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in Harpurhey, part of the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a rapidly growing service and we require an individual with the drive and ambition to move the service forward within the evolving field of respiratory and sleep medicine, providing high standards of patient care in keeping with trust values.

Main duties of the job

Working between North Manchester General Hospital and Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) on a rostered basis.

To carry out a wide range of non-complex respiratory investigations, according to national and local guidelines/protocols, seeking support and advice from a senior member of staff as required.

Configure and download equipment for patients undergoing home sleep studies.

Support remote monitoring CPAP clinics and troubleshooting CPAP clinics via phone or face to face, escalating complex issues to senior physiologists.
