Full Job Description

A vital element of our consulting practice is access to high quality data and research. The Cardiff Centre of Excellence's Executive Compensation Research Team is a small team of highly experienced researchers and data analysts, who collate, analyse and produce statistical reports and insights, focusing on the remuneration paid to the top executives in the UK's leading companies. As a member of our team, you can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Collecting and analysing board-level remuneration data for FTSE All-Share and FTSE AIM 100 companies, as well as selected non-UK companies.
  • Tracking the status of companies through the cycle of report publication through to AGM.
  • Research support to regional and NSE client teams.
  • Assisting in a detailed annual survey on remuneration for senior management roles in UK companies, followed by a report.
  • Circulating daily round-up of remuneration-related stories.
  • Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution

    High degree of attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Strong interest in research and information management.
  • High level of IT user ability, including Microsoft Excel and Power Point. Training will be provided on in-house IT tools.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Ability to use initiative and work unsupervised within agreed processes, planning and managing workload effectively, meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Effective judgement and decision making.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Energetic and highly motivated team member.
  • Strong communication skills liaising with client-facing teams.
