Full Job Description

As Senior Bid Manager you will complete several process and activities in Technical and commercial aspects during bid preparation process with respect to an effective administration of proposal (including Bid Management) for an assigned project or customer target group. How you'll make an impact

  • Build proposals for EPC's and end customer within field of Protection and Control system in HV and MV substations including hardware and software scope of supply.
  • Analyze customer technical specifications independently to better understand aspects of the product and solutions.
  • Ensure preparation of the proposals in high quality and in timeline with the customer requirements.
  • Close cooperation and coordination with technical specialists within team locally and overseas.
  • Independently develop, edits, and writes original proposal responses and other sales-related documents.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of assigned industry structure, applications, terminology, trends, and issues.
  • Discover and understand customer's primary business goals, operations, challenges, and requirements.
  • Validate and endorse the technical aspects of the solution offered in the bid.
  • Display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, sophisticated, and/or multi-functional problems.
  • Understand the Transmission Utility market as it relates to customer requirements, opportunities, and competition.

    Extensive experience in substation control and protection system energy transmission and distribution.
  • Proven business acumen in balancing customer and business requirements, i.e., financials strategic and tactical thinking etc.
  • Longtime professional experience in bid preparation / management, tendering of sophisticated, international bids for energy projects.
  • Technical and Business type verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of the power distribution / transmission market and technologies, mainly in protection and control and HMI solutions, SCADA and cyber security.
  • Result oriented with strong analytical thinking and customer focus.
  • Inherent ability to work optimally in a team environment and strong desire to win.
  • Organization and time management skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel up to 20% locally and internationally.
