Full Job Description
The Senior Bid Manager is responsible for leading the preparation and submission of high-quality tenders for soft, hard, and integrated facilities management contracts. This role involves managing a team of bid managers and writers, coordinating all bid-related activities, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives while delivering compelling proposals.,
- Team Leadership : Lead and develop a team of bid managers and writers, fostering collaboration and a culture of excellence in bid preparation.
- Bid Management : Oversee the preparation of bid submissions for multiple FM contracts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while meeting strategic deadlines.
- Content Development : Supervise the creation, editing, and refinement of tender materials, ensuring consistency, clarity, and high quality across all proposals.
- Collaboration : Work closely with operational, commercial, and business development teams to gather input and finalize bid content, ensuring all perspectives are represented.
- Library Management : Develop and maintain a centralized library of standard bid materials, driving continuous improvement in presentation and alignment with best practices.
- Market Awareness : Stay informed about FM market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to enhance the competitiveness of bids.
- Quality Control : Ensure all submissions meet rigorous standards of accuracy, professionalism, and compliance, with a focus on detail.
- Digital Solutions : Leverage Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) to facilitate efficient document management, version control, and real-time collaboration among stakeholders.
Proven experience in bid management and writing within the facilities management sector. - Strong knowledge of FM services, industry standards, and competitive landscapes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, corporate environment.
- Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic mindset., Strategic Thinking : Ability to align bid strategies with broader business objectives and market trends.
