Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, forward thinking and experienced HCPC registered Senior Biomedical Scientist (BMS) to join our existing team to further develop the Infection Science service at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM). This role will also include IT responsibility.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic HCPC registered Senior BMS with IT responsibilities to join our team., The successful applicant will work as part of a team of Bacteriology staff based at the Royal Stoke University Hospital site. Applicants will be expected to have significant Microbiology experience and will be expected to take on IT responsibilities. You must be a strong team player who has a positive attitude to change. You must have excellent organisational and communication skills.
We are fully equipped with UF5000, Vitek XL, BDMax, WaspLab, BDMgit, Virtuo and MaldiTof Prime.
Please note that this is not a trainee post and applicants without the IBMS Specialist portfolio or equivalent qualification will not be considered.
