Full Job Description

  • Play a lead role in the commercial planning, LRP & IMC planning processes, developing specific brand-in channel strategies & through the line marketing plans tailored by formats & channels that enable us to deliver our AOP. You will set clear brand-in-channel objectives & budgets ensuring they are signed up to by the sales channel leads.
  • You will develop clear in-going briefs for the IMC process which set out channel objectives & budget which are signed up to by sales/customer activation & will lead the agreement of the agency outcome with the Customer Activation teams.
  • With an insight led approach, you will use a combination of consumer, market, category & communications agency best-practice to define the appropriate set of strategies & solutions for brand-in-channel activation.
  • Essential to this role is proactively managing your sales, customer activation & agency stakeholders with gravitas at all levels to ensure alignment of brand-in-channel activities. You will be expected to lead a number of internal and external stakeholder groups including agencies, suppliers and internal senior customers.
  • Full accountability for the brand in channel budget across all levels of the P&L, able to work across departments to understand and input into all areas, providing timely and accurate monthly forecasts including risks and opportunities as and when required.

  • Experience in customer marketing, developing brand in channel strategies
  • Proven track record in building strong activation plans, through gaining alignment across the commercial function
  • Skilled influencer, representing the voice of the customer via successfully managing multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in Brand Management
  • Confidence in managing complex budgets
  • Solid commercial acumen and understanding of price pack archetecture
  • Experience working in both the On and The Off premise
