Full Job Description

This role reports into the Marketing Manager who is looking for a passionate, creative, curious and consumer centric Senior Brand Manager to lead and manage must win battles 1-4. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing local brand strategy

  • Development of the annual brand plan and delivery of resulting initiatives, through teams, to meet annual commercial and brand targets.

  • Working with the global team to fine tune our brand positioning & identify & confirm our brand visual identity through research, advertising and other marketing plans.

  • Ensuring our positioning is brought to life with a meticulously consistent brand visual identity

  • Leading the development of the brand communications and owning the communications strategy

  • Lead our £multi million media planning working with our media agency & in house data driven media team

  • Providing, and delivering, inspiring and engaging content for all sales briefings and customer presentations, in line with defined end to end processes, to ensure the brand agenda is delivered through the business.

  • Managing relationships with agencies to get superior on-time, work, following defined methodologies and frameworks.

  • Monitoring, evaluating and reporting monthly brand volume/value share development and fiscal spending plan evaluation and driving resulting actions through the business.

  • Line management of an Assistant Brand Manager

    They have minimum 4 years brand marketing experience.

  • Track record of consumer centric communications development & media buying & planning

  • Courage and conviction to be able to influence at a senior level within an organisation

  • Good judgement and well developed decision-making skills with an understanding of when to shift from analysis to action, and an ability to recognise critical problems and opportunities and to focus on these in favour of others

  • Passion for people development


  • This highly visible role will be critical in achieving Birra Moretti's biggest year yet! With your strong communication skills and ability to interact with and influence a broad range of stakeholders, you will be empowered to help develop and drive highly ambitious marketing programmes. As a line manager, you will be passionate about dedicating time to the development of this individual via frequent 121s, quarterly development sessions & both giving and seeking regular feedback.

    You will make the tough decisions to ensure you are not compromising brand equity whilst delivering strong top line growth. You will consumer obsessed, validating decisions & hypotheses and be able to identify barriers & course correct as you go. You will work with a smile on your face as we continue to foster an ambitious and development focussed; but fun, working environment.

    Salary: £63,750 - £72,000 depending on experience, plus 15% flexible benefits allowance (can be taken as cash) and benefits listed below., Our office sites operate a hybrid model. You'll spend Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a day of your choice in the office and can work from home on two days, although but you're more than welcome to come and work from the office on those days too.
