Full Job Description
As one of our Senior Building Control surveyors you will be responsible for managing a case load of applications submitted under the Building Regulations, assessing and dealing with dangerous structures, enforcement of the building regulations and demolition. As part of the team, you will assist in delivering a high-quality Building Control service in according with legislation, professional standards and corporate priorities.
- Your role will include: -Undertaking assessments and supervision of dangerous structures.
- Making judgements as to the adequacy of building work and compliance with regulations, and
- Determining which enforcement powers are the most appropriate to address non-compliance. You will give advice about Building Regulations and the implementation of the regulations, enforcement powers and quality assurance systems. Why us?
