Full Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead on transformation. This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week, with a minimum of 20% of this to be office-based to promote collaboration and team working.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll be a key player in the transformation of VIVID. Your expertise in business processes, requirements gathering, and process improvements will be essential. You'll assist Programme and Project Managers in the development of their plans, ensuring appropriate BA skills are identified and realistic resource estimates are incorporated. Working initially within our Programme team you'll work with the business to understand requirements and shape the To-Be Process for Asset Management on a MS Dynamics platform. You will be part of a team of Business Analysts liaising with business stakeholders, partners, and internal teams. Additionally, you'll contribute to the development of our business analysis practice, sharing your expertise with the team, with the opportunity to manage small teams from time to time. As Senior Business Analyst, you'll have experience leading/mentoring a team of Business Analyst on larger programmes/projects with a good understanding of the concepts underlying current technology used by large organisations, covering networks, applications, databases, general data storage, MIS, APIs, middleware, firewalls, etc. The Senior Business Analyst will have a detailed understanding of analysis methods particularly Agile based, creating EPIC, Features and User-Stories, while supporting in activities such as refinements and playbacks. You'll also have a good understanding of Project Management methods, with tools such as Gantt charts, risks and issues logs, and business cases.
