Full Job Description

These are full-time opportunities, on a permanent basis. Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas. We are currently operating a hybrid way of working, with a minimum of 40% of contracted hours working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. This may rise to 60% during the year. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role, some roles will need to be on site more regularly., This is a high-profile role delivering business analysis services for our portfolio, programmes and projects. You are pivotal in understanding and analysing user and business needs. You will ensure outcomes are aligned with service vision and business strategy by contributing to the link between current and future business models and delivering to the business architecture.
You will lead on the preparation of the business analysis approach and plan for agreed projects and programmes. This could include developing detailed workshop plans and ensuring appropriate time is integrated into the wider delivery plan for consolidating analysis findings into functional requirements.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will lead on the analysis and design of projects and programmes, influencing and managing relationships effectively, ensuring business analysis outputs are captured and agreed by all stakeholders, and ensuring that those in the projects and programmes are positively engaged taking account of their levels of influence and interest.
You will lead digital and business teams to reach a consensus on an agreed minimum viable product that will reach and attain benefits realisation, ensure the modelling of business processes, data and systems meet these requirements.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of ongoing business analysis activities from the design phase into implementation and delivery of the project and work effectively with testing partners, training partners, change managers and the business in defining acceptance criteria and business readiness principles., We use the Civil Service Success Profiles to assess our candidates, find out more here.

You will have extensive and proven ability to work with discretion and capability in own area and be able to provide evidence of working effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, working across boundaries and delegating where appropriate, adding value through strategic thinking.
The successful candidate will have a track record of making decisions confidently and demonstrate a deep understanding of the complexity and diversity of customer needs and expectations, making disciplined decisions based on available information.
You will have experience of anticipating and mitigating risks, handling unexpected problems and finding creative solutions.
