What you'll be doing
+ Work through intricate business challenges within the cyber domain, identifying and articulating problem statements that drive effective solutions.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives and security needs.
+ Create comprehensive user stories that capture the functional and non-functional requirements, facilitating clear communication between business and technical teams.
+ Analyse and map business value flows to ensure that all processes and solutions deliver maximum value and efficiency.
+ Conduct internal reviews to identify areas for process improvement, implementing changes that enhance our operational effectiveness and security posture.
+ Lead workshops and meetings to engage stakeholders, gather insights, and drive consensus on business requirements and solutions.
+ Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications and delivered on time.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Extensive experience in business analysis, particularly within the cyber security domain, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
+ Strong ability to analyse complex business problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
+ Experience in managing and engaging with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their needs are met and expectations managed.
+ Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Experience in supporting project delivery, ensuring that business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications.
+ Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and analyse complex technical scenarios, bridging the gap between business and technology teams.
+ Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
It's a bonus if you have but not essential
+ Understanding of cyber security principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge to business analysis activities.
+ Experience working in regulated industries, particularly within the financial services sector, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
+ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments, facilitating iterative and incremental delivery of solutions.
+ Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis), or similar, demonstrating your commitment to professional development and industry standards.
+ Knowledge of tools and technologies used in business analysis, such as JIRA, Confluence, and process mapping software.

If you're successful in securing a role with us, there are some checks you need to complete before starting. These include credit and criminal record checks and three years' worth of satisfactory references. If the role is part of the Senior Manager Regime and Certification Regime, it requires enhanced pre-employment checks - we'll ask for six years of regulatory references, and once in the role, you'll be subject to periodic employment checks.
