Omega red Group is seeking a dynamic, experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our successful sales team. If you are a seasoned professional looking for a fresh challenge with career growth potential and the opportunity to really make a difference, then this is the role for you., The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for driving a team of Account Managers and Business Development Managers to identify and realise new contract opportunities with clients. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overall responsibility for all clients, including retention, communication and customer complaint resolution
  • Development of sales strategy, inclusive of target lists and sales targets
  • Identification of sales opportunities with existing clients
  • Presentation of new products and services to new and existing clients
  • Training for clients
  • Produce and maintain client database with new and potential clients, including contract renewal information
  • Accurately maintain and report on sales performance
  • Attend contract review meetings, inclusive of attending to support Account Managers
  • Build effective working relationships with clients generating additional workloads wherever possible
  • Responsible for productivity of the team
  • To carry out performance and development reviews, identifying training needs, organising training of employees as required.
  • Day to day support for Account Managers, inclusive of supporting Account Managers on contract review meetings with larger
  • clients What you'll need: As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be professional, motivated, customer focussed and have an untiring desire to meet targets. You will operate from our Nottingham office and be expected to visit customers' premises on a regular basis. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining valuable customer relationships while providing day to day support for Account Managers.

  • Previous people management experience
  • Proven experience using strategic selling techniques
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
  • The ability to use MS Office applications to a high standard, specifically Excel
  • The ability to travel anywhere in the UK, including overnight stays if necessary
  • Have a full driving licence
