Join our Team as a Senior Business Development Manager at Burges Salmon! Are you a driven individual with a passion for business development and expertise in working with Dispute Resolution teams? We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our Business Development team at Burges Salmon. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering our ambitious growth plans for our Dispute Resolution team.,

  • Lead and manage our business development strategy and activities for the Dispute Resolution team - managing the sales funnel at every stage and converting client opportunities
  • Drive profitable growth across all specialisms, with a key focus on raising our profile in the London Market.
  • Collaborate closely with our talented lawyers and Partners to ensure our business development efforts are effective and commercially valuable.
  • Instil confidence and trust with both internal and external clients, multipliers and key stakeholders, using your expertise to influence and guide them with diplomacy and tact.

    Proven experience in legal business development, particularly within contentious legal teams.
  • Strong experience of managing marketing and business development activity at every stage of the sales funnel with a particular emphasis on 'top of the funnel' success
  • Experience and understanding of the London market for litigation/dispute resolution work. Strong ability to influence and build great working relationships with senior colleagues.
  • A growth mindset with excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach to achieving business goals.
  • Client-facing experience is desirable
