Full Job Description

Reporting to Finance Director, this role will define and support the planning and execution of strategic objectives, thereby delivering large scale business critical programme with complex outcomes that cover the entire M&G organisation and relevant third parties.,

  • Demonstrate strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to align with the corporate approach and consistently create C-suite level presentations, sometimes within tight deadlines.

  • Provide financial analysis for various scenarios, including the production of detailed management information (MI), analysis, and reporting to senior stakeholders.

  • Support the end-to-end delivery of medium to highly complex finance projects, identifying key business stakeholders, and assisting in defining the business case, scope, resources, and expected benefits and outcomes.

  • Collaborate with the Change team to define high-quality, delivery-focused project plans (with built-in risk mitigation strategies) that ensure successful delivery, assigning responsibilities to project resources.

  • Independently identify and take ownership of issues, risks, and dependencies, making recommendations to mitigate risks or resolve issues. Escalate where necessary to maintain project progress and serve as an escalation point on behalf of the Finance Director/Managing Director.

  • Consistently identify improvement and innovation opportunities within the team and implement processes, new ways of working, or facilitate training to address those opportunities.

    Strong ability to create polished PowerPoint presentations and experience servicing senior management (Director and above)

  • Strong experience in Banking/Financial services (preferably qualified accountant - not essential)

  • Significant and demonstrable track record of using data to feed into strategic decision making.

  • Experience of analysis and developing proposals into robust business cases.

  • Experience of supporting business projects, working with both internal and external stakeholders within a Finance Function.

  • Experience of working in a highly controlled and regulated environment.
