Full Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Support Administrator to join our Fostering Service. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, confidential administrative support to the Fostering Team while managing a small team of Business Support Administrators. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the fostering service by managing a variety of administrative tasks., + Provide comprehensive administrative support, including typing, filing, diary management, and minute-taking.
+ Maintain accurate documents, reports, and databases in a timely and confidential manner.
+ Support the Fostering Panel with coordination, minute-taking, and report preparation.
+ Manage foster carer training schedules, records, and profiles.
+ Supervise and support Business Support Administrators, including conducting supervisions and appraisals.
+ Oversee the management of referral data, matching and placement processes for children and young people.
+ Assist with marketing activities for Foster Carer recruitment and manage enquiries.
+ Coordinate with the Panel Advisor on training and recruitment activities for the Fostering Panel.
+ Support with budget monitoring, data analysis, and IT training within the team.

+ Minimum Level 2 qualification in business administration or ICT (preferred).
+ Experience in database management and strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and social media tools.
+ Exceptional organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to handle confidential information and work to deadlines in a busy environment.
+ Experience in customer service and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
+ Experience in supervising or line managing staff is an advantage.
+ Knowledge of fostering services is desirable but not essential.
