Full Job Description

Project management. Develop and implement project plans to deliver an effective, efficient, and high performing projects PMO function. Develop and maintain an approach to ensure senior oversight of progress, risks and dependencies across the portfolio of transformation projects. Identify and implement processes to provide oversight of data and key performance indicators. Ensure a standardised approach to planning, reporting, monitoring, risks, issues, change control and budgetary management across a range of projects, working across the ICS with key stakeholders. Provide leadership & specialist expertise, promoting, advising, and facilitating quality improvement and developments across ICS. Lead on all required information returns related to programme and project progress including to key ICS forums, and at a Regional and National level, where required. Analysis. Use a variety of analytical skills to interrogate a wide range of data to provide detailed reports and analysis of progress
against plans. Identify and analyse trends across the programme, including key risks and issues, providing briefings, reports, and mitigation. Leadership. Act as the key point of contact and subject matter expert across the ICS. Provide Senior Project Manager support for the ICS on specific projects within the ICS Cancer Transformation Programme. Be highly organised, to ensure that processes and projects are planned, managed, and delivered effectively; be calm under pressure and able to juggle competing priorities and tight deadlines. Communication & Engagement Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders across the ICS involved in the delivery of the cancer transformation programme. Interpret highly complex or sensitive information, briefing senior management on any key trends, issues, or risks. In fulfilling duties, the post holder will have to communicate with stakeholders using verbal and written skills of the highest order. Produce clear visual materials, project
documentation and data for use in reports, briefings, workshops, and meetings for both internal and external presentations.
