Full Job Description
- Assist the Manager, Deputy Manager, and Assistant Manager in the efficient and caring management of the home.
- Conduct walking handovers, ensuring accountability for all residents at the start and end of shifts.
- Ensure staff contribute to the efficient running of the home, creating the right atmosphere, and leading by example.
- Training and Development:
- Support the training and development of all staff.
- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the in-house training program to a high standard.
- Report any changes in client's condition or behaviour to the appropriate supervisor.
Minimum of NVQ Level 2, working towards NVQ Level 3 or above. - Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff.
- Effective communication and interaction skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Patience and understanding when dealing with challenging situations.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules. Note: Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
