The successful candidate will be a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual who can provide high-quality personal care and support the care team in creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all., As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes in their care needs, and ensuring that new needs are met. You will be involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans. Additionally, you will support residents with their medication requirements, undertake staff supervisions, and be a key point of contact for residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate must have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. They should also have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff, and be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
