Senior CDx Global Product Manager

The Senior CDx Global Product Manager for Leica Biosystems is responsible for growth, management and reporting for Companion Diagnostic (CDx) products within the staining reagents portfolio, along with the development and launch of complex New Product Development initiatives. This position is part of the Advanced Staining Reagents Product Management Team located in Newcastle. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. You will be a part of the Product Management Team and report to the Director, Product Management ASR responsible for the development, launch and on market life cycle management of the Leica Biosystem's Advanced Assays and Reagents portfolio. • Responsibility/accountability for management and growth of CDx strategy within staining reagents portfolio, including performance tracking and reporting.
• Execute development and launch of complex CDx NPD initiatives (or cross-BU projects) in accordance with APD, LEx, MMP and Design Control processes and Pharma Partners
• Leader/champion of MMP process, providing SME leadership to the Product Management team.
• Delivery of complex procedural/standard work/ non-growth projects
• Execute product lifecycle management tasks on portfolio including product maintenance, revitalization, and rationalization to maintain healthy portfolio. Identify opportunities to streamline tasks or create standard work for product management team.
  
  Previous experience as a product manager for CDx programs
• Experience in Medical Diagnostics Sales and / or Marketing experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the companion diagnostics development process to support prospective lead generation, including IVD product development, design control, oncology clinical trial strategies, and the current regulatory landscape of companion diagnostics in various global regions.
• Specialized knowledge of the CDx market and biomarker clinical trial strategy.
• Well-connected in pharma and biotech. Proven track record and significant experience leading CDx or Pharmaceutical Product launches into multiple markets.
Travel Requirements: Ability to travel - 30% travel internationally
