At Eni , we are looking for a Senior Chartering Oil and Products within ETB in London. You will be responsible for managing the spot chartering process working closely with Trading and dealing with ad hoc requests from management.

As a member of the Shipping Oil & Trading Services department at ETB you will be responsible for :

  • Supporting Chartering, Operations & Trading teams in sourcing optimal tonnages at market rates while managing relevant risks;

  • Planning, developing and managing the chartering activities of the various trade routes & optimize the earning capacity of the company's fleet;

  • Obtaining optimal returns by reducing voyage expenses;

  • Identifying and developing new/potential chemical & oil charterers for return cargo;

  • Keeping real time reliable fixtures documentation for transparency and compliance needs;

  • Providing guidance to Clients on proposed shipping ventures, investment opportunities & market trends;

  • Dealing with spot and/or time charters, crude oil, chemical tankers and gas tankers;

  • maintain cooperative relationship with local and overseas customers/shipowners, arrange regular meetings/visits and develop network further;

  • Keeping up-to-date knowledge of the market and perform market intelligence research;

  • Assisting Management and the team with ad hoc requests.

  • supporting the scheduling team for optimizing the relevant time charter fleet;

  • providing pro-active support and real-time updates on the shipping market;

  • keeping the fixtures documentation with all the latest data; maintaining a good relationship with internal clients and counterparts;



  • knowledge and experience of tanker chartering (liquid bulk cargo) & contract management of Crude Oil, Products, chemical and gas tankers within Majors or Trading house would be advantageous;

  • knowledge of Incoterms and experience of General Terms and Conditions of oil trading Majors;

  • experience in a similar role within a trading environment and/or operational experience;

  • full command of English (written and spoken) and knowledge of Italian language will be beneficial; working knowledge of Microsoft Suite;
