The role is predominantly based at Sunshine House but will incorporate caring for children and their families within a range of environments including mainstream and special needs schools, home, and other care or respite settings, as required. The service covers children with acute and complex conditions including palliative and end of life care when needed, special school nursing and support of acute and chronic continence conditions.

We therefore support and encourage open conversations about flexible working in order to ensure that our colleagues can work in a manner that best suits their personal needs and preferences., A vacancy has arisen for a full time, enthusiastic Senior Registered Nurse to join the leadership team at Sunshine House and be instrumental in managing the day to day running and training needs of the service. Sunshine House provides respite for children and young people, aged 0-18 years, with complex disabilities and health needs. The service operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and the successful candidate will be expected to work across a range of shifts to meet the needs of the service. You will have the opportunity to lead and develop new skills within an innovative and creative environment. You will also teach parents, carers and other health professionals as required, and will mentor pre- and post-registration students. Support will be provided from the clinical managers within the service to enable you to drive change, ensure the delivery of safe care of a high standard, and help the team meet business plan objectives., Work with us and you'll be more than just a number.
