Full Job Description

You will work within one of our community bases with designated days to work within an area of specialism, including the Neonatal Unit, Special Schools and Focus Provision, on a rotational basis., Assessing person, environmental and occupational components to support children's occupational performance and participation outcomes.

Providing direct treatment sessions and training / advice to parents and colleagues in health and education settings, to enable children to achieve their full potential.

Completing written reports to contribute to Education, Health & Care Plans.

The post-holder liaises both orally and in writing with any significant others involved in the management of the client, within and outside the NHS, to ensure the client's needs are met effectively and efficiently.

The post-holder is responsible for managing his/her own caseload, including clinical administration and appointments, in order to meet access criteria and ensure a cost-effective, quality service.

The post holder may be responsible for the oversight of a locality caseload and supports staff of other bands to manage their own caseload.

Whilst experience of working with early years children is desirable, we are a supportive, dynamic, forward thinking team who would be able to provide relevant training to promote your personal development.
