Senior Civil Engineer

Due to our continued success and growing business demands we currently have a vacancy for a SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER who is looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at our Office in Birmingham, offering hybrid working once your induction is complete. As a SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER, you will be working on a range of structural engineering projects, from concept design through approvals to construction, preparing calculations and technical design information to deliver innovative structural engineering solutions, for both new-build and refurbishment projects. Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients to achieve long term goals
• Manage Civil Engineering surveys and report accordingly on findings
• Approve technical calculations
• Produce detail technical designs using AutoCAD/C3D/InfoDrainage
• Organise and submit technical documentation and drawings for planning/tender/construction
• Management of internal and external design consultants as part of a coordinated project team
• Conduct tender analysis and recommendations, when required
• Manage construction plans with clients and other professionals
• Leading projects effectively to meet time, cost and quality targets
• Provide assistance and support for all team members
• Assist asset management reviews of client
• Key client account management - collaborate with client to achieve optimum outcomes
  
  Post-graduation experience gained working on Residential, Commercial & Educational Developments
• Experience in reinforced concrete structures and drainage design would be desirable
• Hold accredited MEng or BEng degree in civil or structural engineering
• Be looking to become or be in the process of becoming Chartered
  
  Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
