Full Job Description

  • You start your day in the office. A day or so a week you work from home. You catch up on emails and the handover from the night before.

  • You then move on to reviewing the Key Performance Indicators for the service - Arrears, Voids, compliance, budgets and customer satisfaction. Your Support Coodinator has prepared a handy report for you.

  • KPI's done, you sit in the teams handover meeting - understanding what needs done today and this week and ensuring any risks in the service are managed and that customers are supported.

  • You meet with a couple of the team for one to one (or Brilliant Conversations as we call them).

  • Finally, you join the customers for an hour or so and join in and support with the engagement activities that are planned in the service before finishing the day off with a call with your Operations Manager.

You'll line manage a team of support coordinators, workers and night concierge colleagues!, The role is 37.5 hours - 9am - 5:30pm with an hour for lunch. Typically, you will work from our Whitehaven office as it's important to know what's going on, but a day or so a week you will work from home to catch up on paperwork.

  • The role is typically Monday to Friday but where shift's need covered, we all chip in.

  • A work life balance is key! Family event, a school play, parents evening, freezer being delivered? You're there!

    Customers are at the heart of everything that we do here at Home Group! You need to be able to work with customers who come from all walks of life, some of whom may have complex backgrounds. Being able to tailor services to meet the needs of that individual customer is key.

  • Someone who is able to lead and motivate a team to deliver excellent outcomes for customers in line with our service delivery model.

  • Someone who is fantastic at building external relationships and working.

  • You need to be a detail person; ensuring the service is running efficiently and on target is key!

  • A good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding is integral.

  • Someone who is passionate and driven to really deliver a service that makes a difference to people's lives.

  • Someone who gets a buzz from building a high performing team.

  • Experience of working in a supported housing environment would be great!
