Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Senior Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Facilitator to join the Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Team at Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. Due to service need, we would ideally like someone who can commence in post during February/March 2025, although all applications will be considered.
This role is a great opportunity for someone to progress to the next level, building on their existing clinical audit facilitation skills and expanding their knowledge. The post holder will support clinical audit & effectiveness activity across both acute and community services, managing a wide portfolio of projects and ensuring that improvement action plans are in place to improve patient care.
The successful candidate will need excellent organisational skills to manage the workload effectively and cope with conflicting demands and deadlines. Accuracy and attention to detail are also essential to ensure that administration systems are up to date and maintained to a high standard.
If you think this role is for you, we would love to hear from you., Work with colleagues in the Clinical Audit & Effectiveness Team and staff at all levels across the organisation to deliver an effective Clinical Audit Programme.
Support Trust compliance with mandatory requirements by taking responsibility for facilitation of a wide range of projects.
Monitor the submission of data to mandatory national audits, ensuring data is complete/accurate, deadlines are met and concerns are escalated.
Engage with clinicians to ensure that audits are carried out in accordance with best practice and result in improvements in patient care.
Contribute to the assurance and monitoring of clinical audit activity, ensuring project monitoring systems are up to date and reflect the current status of audit activity within allocated portfolio.
Work with teams across the organisation to review audit results and identify areas for improvement. Support action and learning from clinical audit results, working with Divisional Teams to develop, implement and monitor SMART (Specific, Measureable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely) action plans.
Support the review of practice against NICE guidelines to provide assurance of Trust compliance.
Produce reports and presentations in a timely manner and present information at Divisional Meetings.
