Full Job Description

This role involves supporting drug and alcohol key workers in the delivery of psychosocial approaches. You will plan and deliver clinical formulation sessions via multidisciplinary meetings and work with CGL managers to identify training needs . You will plan, prepare and deliver skills practice supervision sessions and work with the service to develop their intervention offer.
We are looking for someone with great communication skills, who is a real team player, able to support and develop multi professional colleagues. You will have a passion for the client group, ensuring that people with co-occurring needs can access both substance misuse and mental health services when they need to. To this end you will have a role in influencing the way in which the dual diagnosis policy is implemented across services.

We are looking for an experienced psychologist or psychological therapist to support the development of this new service innovation, to enhance the provision of psychosocial interventions within the community, for individuals with difficulties associated with substance misuse.
